Thank God, at this Advent Season, that we can look forward to the day
when Christ will return.

- all who take part in our Services each Sunday.
- our Sunday School teachers and Leaders of our organizations.
- the members of the Junior Choir, MU Choir and Parish Choir as
they prepare for Christmas.
- our Rector in his preparation for our services.
- any one known to you who is anxious or depressed.
Thank God for His unfailing love.
WEEK beginning 14thDec.pray for…
- the Rector and those who take part in our Family Service.
- those who will take part in the Young People’s Carol Service.
- all families in our Parish, that we may know and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
- safe travel on our roads at this busy season.
- those who are ill and those who have recently been bereaved, for whom the Christmas season may be a difficult time.
Thank God for sending Jesus to be our Saviour.

- the Rector, Organist, Music Group, Choirs, ‘Corban’, Readers and all who take part in our Services during the Christmas Season.
- the Carol singing around the Parish and the Relief Work in the Congo which we will be supporting.
- our Christmas Day Service; Thank God for the Saviour and for the Gospel of Peace. “Today in the town of David, a Saviour has been born”
- Peace and Goodwill in our Province and among all nations.
- those who may feel lonely during the Christmas season.
- those working as Missionaries as they celebrate the Christmas season and the New Year away from their family circles.
Thank God for all His love and goodness to us in 2008.
Thank God for the faithful witness of this Parish over the years
and pray for our Rector as he leads our Parish in the years ahead.
An Advent Prayer
O God, you sent your Son into the world to be the Saviour of all who believe and promised that he will come again to be our judge.
Increase in us the attitude of watchfulness and prayer, so that we may always be ready to meet him, with our lamps trimmed and burning and our lives active in his service, to the glory of your Name. Amen.
